Sándal intense Repair & Protect Oil (IRP) promotes efficient healing of wounds by significantly shortening the healing process. How to apply intense Repair & Protect
The application is simple, painless and safe for the patient. The oil shows its effectiveness in both wound care and wound aftercare, as well as in direct wound treatment. The product must be applied to a clean and dry wound area, and if necessary, protected with a sterile dressing. A wound area of approximately 5 cm² is treated with three puffs of spray. The application volume of one spray puff is equivalent to about 0.1 ml. For greater efficacy the same amount of oil should additionally be applied to the dressing covering the wound. Then, as a final step, applying an extra dry/clean dressing on top. At each dressing change the product is reapplied. The product should be applied a minimum of 3 times a week. For faster and better results, the application should be done daily. This therapy is a complementary, supportive treatment method that accelerates the healing time of wounds and ulcers by more than 30%. The use of the oil is recommended for the treatment and acceleration of wound healing for e.g. diabetic dermopathy, ulcers, complex wounds and chronic wounds such as venous and arterial ulcers, decubitus, diabetic foot syndrome (DFS, stages 1-3), traumatic, neuropathic and oncological ulcers.

The product, designed from natural substances, is free from any additives such as emulsifiers, parabens or silicones. The composition of the oil consists of a natural base oil, vitamin E and sandalore. The product is perfectly balanced, rich in polyphenols, vitamins and monounsaturated fatty acids with antioxidant, emollient and protective properties, which increase hydration, resistance and elasticity of the skin and positively support and complement the action of the added synth. sandalwood. Allergies and skin intolerances are often triggered by a large number of ingredients and preservatives. We have restricted ourselves to the essentials in the selection of our ingredients. Product certification
The product is currently certified and approved as a cosmetic product in accordance with the European Regulation for Cosmetic Products Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (Article 13) (Sandal Skincare Oil CPNP Reference 3614148). Approval as a medical product is being strived for and has been initiated but due regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical products, which finally came into force in May 2020, new requirements have been established which cause a considerable delay.
